Climate Grief and Storytelling Workshop - Tamales y Bicicletas Garden

Join us for a transformative walking and writing journey.

Through a supported process led by musician and poet Ben Weaver we will discover, discuss, and process the spectrum of emotions that arise when dealing with climate change.

Leading with our imaginations and vulnerability we will use storytelling as way to spark ideas and possibilities. This 3-hour interactive workshop will incorporate music, reflective writing, and conversation. We will be outside on the land so that we can better hear the wisdom it has to offer us. Participants will be invited to share their stories of climate change through Climate Generation's Eyewitness project.

If you are feeling a sense of loss around the urgency to act. but don’t know where to put those emotions this event will offer a safe place to engage with others who have similar feelings and wish to use their imaginations to dream about what comes next.

Moderate walking activity is involved. All ages, backgrounds, and perspectives are welcome! Capacity at 15 people.
