I am a poet, songwriter, letterpress printer/book maker, public speaker and endurance cyclist. I create work that breaks down the emotional and systemic structures separating humans from the ability to feel our connections to the greater web of life and each other.”.
The songs and poems I write/perform work to dispel illusions of division. They hold open space for the wisdom that sits within the trees, rivers, rocks, plants and animals to reignite the inherent stories of wildness and mutuality living inside us all.

It’s always been a challenge to articulate my work to the outside world. But, over the last half decade, it’s come into focus. Today, the diversity of work I do extends far beyond music and poetry for which I’m best known Today, I’m hired by companies large and small to create experiences. I work as speaker. I’m brought it as a catalyst for change, to assist with product development, and to help grow and extend brands. I work in the for-profit world and the nonprofit world. CLIMATE ADVOCACY
What if climate change is an emergency full of opportunity rather than despair? What if we can process our grief surrounding climate loss so as to reignite our connections with the expansive "other than human" systems of life to which we are all a part? What if climate grief can become Climate Joy?
Ben has collaborated with Climate Generation: A Will Steger Legacy to create Climate Joy Workshops. Using music, poetry, writing and outdoor community space to create a playful and emergent way of aligning with ecological loss and climate transformation.
