Meet up at the Dovetail Cafe & Marketplace between 7 and 7:25 am on Friday morning May 17th. Feel free to come early to grab a coffee and socialize. At 7:30 we will depart the Duluth Folk School for a short all-inclusive no drop ride to Gitchi-ode’ Akiing Park. At 8 am Ben Weaver will give a short concert and reading. Immediately following the concert Ben and Josh Kowaleski of Spokengear Bike shop will lead a conversation about bike commuting and bike packing. They will be excited to answer any questions about exploration via bikes of any type and participants are encouraged to share their own tips as well. This is a great opportunity to get tips and ideas to plan your next outing whather it's rural or urban. We will have things tied up by 9 am so everyone can get to work on time.
If the Folk School is not on your commute route then please feel free to join us at Gitchi-ode’ Akiing at 8 am for the concert. For those who would prefer to walk or bus you are also invited to join us at the park at 8am. We look forward to seeing everyone no matter how you get there!
