Shows Cancelled or Poke at the Unknown

After talking with the different shops and venues where I had been planning to host Music for Free screenings and concerts throughout the next 10 days, we have decided to cancel the remaining events.

It is a complex time. Possibly a time to hold multiplicities.

Kindness, compassion, patience, generosity, entanglement, should be our abundance’s.

As is the same when a blizzard closes down the city, this present time offers an opportunity to explore what other agencies might enter in. Something to drive the horses besides the constant "movement" and "doing" that our familiar days are stacked with. Time to poke at the unknown. Dialogue with the uncertain.

This is an invitation to consider expansive possibility. Because unlike the usual routines that consume our bandwidths, where the ongoing grind is about how we don’t have enough time to stop and slow down, don’t have enough time to consider a different way, that is precisely the gift of this unusual moment. The fracture is a doorway to go somewhere different.

There is nothing keeping us from going outside. Nothing keeping us from listening to the water, rock and trees. The Sandhill cranes are passing through Nebraska as I write this. They have incredible wisdom to share.

And do not forget our own powers for connection between one another are vast. Perhaps now is the time to explore that vastness. Again the invitations surround us.

Here is a video reading of my current Bike Wilder Poetry CSA poem, Rain on the Seeds.  I printed this several months ago and it feels incredibly pertinent as I finish sewing up the books  and prepare to send them out later this week with the equinox.

We are all being impacted/unified by this in one way or another. The medicine is scattered everywhere. Stay with.
