Surrealism and Blues CD Single German Tour Giveaway
Upon entry to any show on the German/Austrian leg of the upcoming November
2007 tour, each audience member will be given a free “Surrealism
and Blues” tour
single with a purchased ticket of admission. This cd includes the Paper Sky album
version of “Surrealism and Blues,”
an outtake from the Paper Sky sessions titled “Bare,” 3
readings by Ben from his book of poems, “Hand Me Downs Can Be Haunted,” and
a custom cover drawn by Ben.
Crossing Border Festival
Ben has done a series of 10 new drawings to be shown as a part of the Crossing
Border Festival in Den Hague, NL through late November.

June and July with The Waifs supporting
the album Stories Under Nails in the US.

Release News
The new record Paper Sky produced by Brian Deck will
be available April 27th in Europe and UK on Glitterhouse Records, and May 1st
in the US on Fugawee Bird Records.
Bloodshot Records will
release Just one More a tribute
CD to the writer Larry Brown. An unreleased Ben Weaver song titled "Heres
to My Disgrace will be included on the CD.
Ben collaborated with German artists Boozoo
Bajou on a song entitled "Way Down," which will be available
on Boozoo Bajou's upcoming release "Dust My Broom,"
available everywhere in the world on August 22nd from K7
Records. Ben wrote the words and sings.
Stories Under Nails is scheduled to be released in
Australia September 1st, 2005 through MGM Distribution.
Ben is going to Chicago on Halloween to begin work on his next recording. Brian
Deck will be producing.

VH1's Bill Flanagan will be doing a piece this Sunday Aug 28th that will feature
a couple of up and coming songwriters. Ben Weaver and Stories
Under Nails will be one of the artists and albums featured in Bill's

The current issue of MOJO magazine includes Ben's
recording of Dylan's "Ballad of a Thin Man," on its companion compilation
CD, available now.
